A music fan’s dream come true, Lollapalooza transforms Chicago’s Grant Park back to the nineties. One of the true highlights of music fandom in the US, Lollapalooza is celebrating its 25th year anniversary with a 4 day weekend planned. This year’s lineup includes Paul McCartney, Metallica, Florence + The Machine, Sam Smith, Kid Cudi, and Tame Impala. The festival is also a launching ground for newcomers to the industry. Featuring a mile long food court, Lollapalooza continues well into the next day as the party moves into downtown Chicago.

This is one music festival you need to take a ferry to – seriously. Named after its home on Governor’s Island, New York, this music festival is the highlight of all things auditory in New York City. This year’s festival has an impressive lineup prepared, including Kanye West, The Strokes, The Killers, Beck, Robyn, and Of Monsters and Men. The festival also provides attendees to get involved in multiple activities including art installations, lawn games, and a number of hip lounges for a breather.
